Photoshop: Cannot login to lens profile downloader

The application asks me to login to Photoshop.com, and as you can see, I am logged in here. Thus I do have account and a valid password. The Lens Profile downloader however consistently says that I am unable to login using the very same username/password. How can I overcome the obstacle?

Furthermore, a update for the Downloader via Abode AIR popped up, but in a bizarre twist, I can only click on "Update later," the "Update Now" button is grayed out.

We have at my company the same type of quality issues: The passwordo-mania is rampart. We are constantly asked to introduce and change the passwords, a battery of them. Meanwhile the recipes are and more and more complicated. That causes that we cannot keep up with the passwords, and constantly go through "I lost my password" links, we keep setting up yet another maniacal password, which is than soon forgotten, sometimes even instantly forgotten, and the cycle repeats itself. I have reset this year over 40 times "a forgotten password" here and there. I have now an email in "drafts folder " keeping in open text all passwords in order to function. Well, how that helps the "security" over the existing trusty password? Imagine your pin number would be constantly changing in your atm card. You would be constantly standing line in a bank to function in a normal life.

The reason you can't update is because the Adobe Lens Profile Downloader is running. Quit the Adobe Lens Profile Downloader app and the [Update Now] button will become active.
