Cannot change star rating from 5 to 0 with one click

Until the last major update of Adobe Bridge CC, it was possible to change a batch of images from for example 5 stars to zero stars.

Now it takes much more time, because "zero stars" is "hidden" behind the one star rating that has to be clicked twice (one for 1 star, two clicks for no stars at all).

That sounds like a small nuisance, but I deal with hundreds of high-res images that needs star ratings changed. Depending on the processor power and file size, it takes more than a minute to batch-change all images to one star, that I have to wait to change to zero stars.

Before the update I could click left to the stars and thus have my zero star rating WITHOUT waiting.

Can you please fix this or supply a keyboard shortcut to assign zero stars?

Cmd 0 will remove stars HOWEVER this is another UI adjustment which was clearly implemented  by someone who doesn't work with Bridge full time!

Thanks, works as a workaround. I looked for a list of Bridge keyboard shortcuts, but could not find one within Bridge and it does not even appear here:

Yeah, agreed—backwards progress.  I have started hitting 0 (zero) to clear stars, and number keys to add them.  Same as I do in Canon's DPP, so I don't mind.

But I do get the feeling they're not paying attention at Adobe—else someone might have have heard by now that we'd like a HISTOGRAM in Bridge...

Adobe has said that the "correct" way to do this is click on the last star and drag to the right left. We have filed numerous bugs about how star ratings are applied and labels.

Like I have said... whoever came up the new star and labelling hasn't worked in a busy studio!

I rarely use stars but I use labels and keywords everywhere. The label changes and limitations are frustrating. Stars, well we have bugged the lack of the remove button. But yeah, click and drag left will remove the rating in one click.
