Cannot change countries under the same ID..

So this is frustrating... I'd an Adobe account in Brazil and recently moved to US. Over the last week I've been working extensively on +6,000 photos on cloud lightroom under my existing account but when I tried to change countries to US my email ID cannot be used in US because apparently in Brazil is managed by digital river. This is really frustrating and a really bad implementation for a cloud service.. 
Due to that it forces me to create a new account which will make me loose all the work I've done in the cloud with my existing account on Lightroom CC... is there a way to either store locally all the work I've done on lightroom cc so I can catch up with a newly created account in US?
