If you sign in to www.adobe.com with your AdobeID and click Manage Account do you see your subscription as current, or is the payment still pending?

You have to be signed in to the CC desktop app with the AdobeID you purchased the Photography Plan with.

Looks like you signed up on the 3rd. Did you install the trial prior to signing up?

Try signing out and back in to the Creative Cloud app for your account changes to take affect: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-clou...

Hi - thanks for your prompt reply. I've tried logging out and then back in. I can get to the desktop applications page but it has displayed "downloading now" for 4+ hours.

Sounds like the Creative Cloud application is trying to update but there's a conflicting process. Restart the entire computer. It should update correctly after the restart and load the apps normally (not as trials).
