After installing PSE10 I started it and was asked about converting my previous PSE9 catalog to the new format. I accepted. But, after that I never was able to start the Organizer. I can open the editor but not the Organizer. I only get a black windows. Same thing happens with Premiere Elements 10 what I also installed.
I tried to uninstall and uninstall it without success. Then I uninstalled and installed it again in Safe Mode. Only an slight improvement: afer starting the Organizer the window was not black but the usual Organizer screen. But, alas, the cursor was rotating, as if the program was working on something, but the software was frozen.
I guessed that maybe the catalog conversion in some way continued (it contains 19,000 photos) and I checked the Start Task Manager. According to it the PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe *32 is working and steadily increasing the Memory (Private Working Set) (870.980K since I started it half an hour ago. I also ran another software that shows every process running an so I learned that the PSE process is running and using 12.4 percent of the CPU.
Any help will be very appreciated
Thanks in advance
