Cancelling command clears the clipboard

I use keyboard shortcuts A LOT when I'm working.

One thing I do quite often is to save JPG's to a different folder after editing the original.

Typically, I copy that path the the clipboard before starting on a batch of images, then make my edits and when I'm done, I use the keystrokes: Ctrl-Shift-S (Save As...), Home (puts cursor in front of file name), Shift-Insert (pastes the path), Enter, Set Quality, Enter, Ctrl-W (closes the file).

With the latest update to Photoshop CC, for some strange reason, if I open a dialogue box to make an adjustment, then cancel the change or close the dialogue box, the clipboard gets cleared.

This may seem like a minor thing, but it's a really frustrating interruption to my workflow.

Can this behavior be stopped? Why all of the sudden with this release does cancelling a command clear my clipboard?

Please fix this.....
