I looked up your account, it has already been discontinued. Your subscription will not auto-renew, it will end on Dec 15th. This may be the reason you are not able to cancel online, because you are already cancelled.

the reply I received from Brett was absolutely no help at all. It just referred me to the same old information that I have been going to. NO HELP AT ALL!!!!!!! I see the lack of ability to find a way of cancelling as an attempt to keep billing members who don't want the product. If there is no way out, then Adobe can keep on collecting year after year. If they make it so difficult to cancel, then they get to keep your money.

Can you post a screen shot of what you actually see? There should be an option to cancel your account. No one is trying to keep billing you. But the cancellation has to be handled from your end, from your account, for security reasons. For Rick above, I didn't do anything for him, his account was already cancelled before I even got involved.

P.S. This is the same Brett as from the forums...

How do I post a screen shot?
On "manage my account" I have "review my account summary" which details my personal account information -ID, membership, etc., "edit my personal information" and "change my password" and "manage my privacy." There is no place on my account screen that allows me to cancel. I have no more time for this tonight. I'll try again tomorrow. The only alternative, if this can't be cancelled online, is to see if I can block the charge on my credit card before it is charged.
Why can't a support person send me a link to where I can cancel? This should be easy to do. No one should have difficulty cancelling.

To create a screenshot on Windows, click the "Print Screen" ("Prt Scrn") button in the upper-right of your keyboard (near Scroll Lock and Pause/Break). This will load your current display into the OS Clipboard (the same place information is saved when you Copy something with Ctrl+C). Then open an application that supports graphic data (e.g. Photoshop) and Paste (Ctrl+V). Then save the file as a JPEG.

To post the JPEG on this site, use the "Reply to This Topic" box at the bottom. In the lower right, just above the Reply button, is the "Add Image" button. Select the file you created above.

I'll post a screen shot below with what you should be looking for on your account page.

We can't provide a direct link to where you need to go because the link is unique for each person. This should be easy, but from the way you describe things it doesn't sound like you are looking in the right location. I'll demonstrate below.

To cancel your subscription, first go to Adobe.com.

If you are not currently logged in, click "Sign In" in the upper right:

After you have entered your Adobe ID and password, you should see your account screen. Click the "My subscriptions and services" link:

Find your subscription in the list at the bottom, and click the "Renew" button to change your options.

Thank you, Brett. That was a very clear set of directions and the subscription is now ready to cancel. Actually, what I finally and accidentally found, before receiving your response, was that clicking on the word "active" on a line with the subscription data, took me to the next screen where I was able to cancel.
My problem was that I was looking for the word "edit" in that spot and couldn't find it. I didn't see (or notice) the word renew. None the less, had I waited for your response, it too would have worked. So, thank you.
