PHOTOSHOP: Can you bring back the old font list? Or at least make more like Illustrator.

I often work with fonts. How you set up the font tool across programs like Photoshop and Illustrator really confuses me. I am specifically talking about the way the font list is set up. In Pre-CC 2014 you had Photoshop list a single font for each font family - then it let you select the sub-font from a second drop down menu. I really liked that setup. What it did is when you have very large font families, then it would not clutter up the list with 20-30 fonts that are all from the same family. I also liked how it showed the font sample right next to the name, which is something that, before CC 2014, Illustrator did not do. I also never understood why you had small details like that be different between Photoshop and Illustrator. When you did the 2014 update it is almost like you switched sides with Illustrator. Photoshop now shows all sub-fonts in the list, where Illustrator allows you to condense or extend the view of the fonts.

I guess over all I am suggesting just two things here.

First: I would like it if you tried to keep a general consistence between the different adobe products when it comes to the font tool.

Second: I would like the option to view the font list as it was before or even as Illustrator has it. Because overall my main concern here is having to scroll through all the fonts just to find the one I want.

Here is an example between Photoshop CC 2014 and Illustrator CC 2014
