Photoshop cs6, mac snowleopard 10.6.8. Layer mask remains white!
tried keyboard x, selected foreground background (white black) in tool box Mask remains white! Most bring up Mask Palette, select Invert, white becomes black! Is this a BUG or new way of doing things!

Pressing the X key just changes the toolbox color chips (reverses the foreground and background colors in the toolbox)

Yes if you add a reveal all layer mask (white) and want to turn it black (hide all) then Cmd+I (invert) or invert in the properties panel.
