Photoshop: Can we add a feature that we could liquify the whole folder of layers?

I am an illustrator and there are times that I want to keep my layers but when I saw something need to be widen, I cannot do it to all layers at once so I keep on erasing everything to that part and I always wish that someone will thought about we can liquify all layers in the folder at once?

Technically, you can do this by selecting all the layers, converting to a smart object, then applying the liquify to the smart object. Pro: non-destructive, Con: you have to go inside the smart object to edit individual layers after

Although, being able to apply "smart filters" to a layer group similar to how they are applied to smart objects would be REALLY useful!
