I can not find a straight answer to the simple question of "can Photoshop Elements 13 or 14 access images and a catalog on a Synology model DS213j or any type of networked attached storage (NAS)?". Does anyone know? I'm using Windows 10, version 1511, build 10586.164.
I've read the PSE manual and it did not directly address this question. If PSE can't make use of an NAS, except for backing up, then I'll stop wasting my money on PSE and find a modern alternative.
Thanks!

Chris, did you look at the 3 Elements screen dumps I posted? Are you or anyone at Adobe looking at this problem? I've been in contact with Synology support, sending them NAS logs and configuration information and they don't see a problem with my NAS.
Thanks.

Unless Elements QE can reproduce this, it would have to be debugged by yourself or Synology (who would have the most information about their server configuration and implementation).
Since your NAS is not operating correctly as a filesystem and gives errors that it shouldn't -- yeah, there is a problem with your NAS.

Chris, Synology Supports asks this question: Is there is a way to make sure Elements will use a NAS user account to access mapped folder, instead of using the Windows credentials?
Does this mean anything to you and does it offer something I can test?
Thanks
