I had a previous thread on this where Adobe said no PDF support. Printing is the biggest NEGATIVE to Slate. Try to pint and only does one page at a time and background is dark. Printing the different windows and glides and inline, etc is a challenge as this is not setup for pagination.

As I stated earlier, the inability of Slate to print to PDF is a HUGE NEGATIVE to writers, artist and photographers. No PDF means Slate has no way to distribute hardcopy nor register the project with the Copyright Office. Alternative is to do screen shots and this is time consuming and self defeating. Easier to spin an indesign document., if you organized your files.

In addition, Slate does not allow us to see the image's file number. This is a huge mistake on Slate's part. This creates a photo management nightmare as people build numerous slates.

Slate is similar to all websites - they don't print well.
Because all websites work at 72 or 96 dpi resolution and printing is 200 to 300 dpi, photographs will be very blurry (low resolution). So the only way you could go to print is to manually re-insert every photograph and logo in the software when preparing for print.
Essentially its a total re-do, except the type (text), which thanks to Adobe technology, should upscale with clarity.
I have previously made screenshots to circulate a Slate page, with good success.
