Which product/version? What OS? What resolution of screen?

There's currently not a way to change the color. Do you by chance have "Use Graphics Processor" switched off under Preferences > Performance?

Unfortunately, the view with Use Graphics Processor active is the best we have currently. There are some potential improvements to help with visibility of selections and such on high density monitors like you in the works.
