Lightroom: Can I buy LR6 and then add on CC services?

I am undecided about Lightroom CC, but do want Lightroom 6. Can I buy LR6 and then 'add-on' the CC benefits, so that should the situation arise where i don't find them useful, that i can let the payment for them lapse and revert to just the original standalone LR6 programme which will retain full functionality? What i don't want is to buy a LR CC plan, and not use it fully, but not be able to use the develop module of LR when the membership ends. Apols if this has already been asked elsewhere but i havent been able to find the thread. thanks.

Hi Bevan,

You can always convert your license to a perpetual license if you want: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/...

The CC photography plan requires a year commitment (to get the $9.99/mo) price, so you can't cancel anytime. (Month to Month plans are more expensive)

So I'd probably suggest if you want to try CC, give it the year, and if you don't like it, then just purchase Lightroom 6.
