Latest Camera Raw Plugin (v8.1.0.43) does not fully support the Nikon D800.

It will not process images that have been taken with "auto ISO".

Have you used an old version of Nikon Transfer or View NX to transfer or view your images?

Obsolete versions will corrupt raw files from newer Nikon cameras so that they are unrecognizable to Adobe products.

If you have done this, you can uncorrupt the files with the following utility:

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your feedback.

I do not use either those programs.

I use ControlMyNikon to control the camera, then Windows Explorer to locate the files on the memory card and load direct into PhotoShop (or NOT load, in this case! ;-)

I have been using ControlMyNikon for several years and never had a problem. Auto-ISO was the only setting I change this weekend...

Actually, I have used Auto-ISO in the past and they *did* load into PS.. Maybe all files from the 'shoot' were somehow corrupted... I'll reformat the memory card and grab some more images tomorrow...

Regards,

Bill
