Camera Raw: 8.2 Crash with Spot Removal Brush

Photoshop Camera RAW 8.2 crashes / force close constantly when using the spot removal brush and clicking on existing spot removal areas. -- I really wish that we had the option to roll-back to previous versions of Camera RAW so that I could not only avoid this, but determine if Camera RAW 8.2 is at fault. I recently upgraded and had been at Camera RAW 8.1 with Photoshop CC for a long time with never a crash. Windows 8.1 64-Bit + CC.

I have lost hours of work multiple times and am gun shy and paranoid over Camera RAW now

Hi Chris, does it hang or does the app crash and close on its own?

It immediately crashes with error in the camera raw plugin. Regrettably, I don't have a screen grab of the error. I am using Photoshop Cc with camera raw as plugin. I am editing nef files from a Nikon d7000. It happens when I have lots of edits.

Thanks Chris. I think Eric knows what this is. Hoping we have good news very soon on a fix.

I am absolutely thrilled at the attentiveness and enthusiasm from Adobe! These crashes are the first time that camera raw has ever crashed and let me down. After the fourth time, I started doing tiny batches and getting paranoid! I hope you can find the problem and will submit any debug info if I get it to trigger again.
