I have lightroom 4.1, 64-bit on Windows 7, which is advertised to support the new Canon 650D. However, the camera profile for canon 650D is missing: there are no corresponding files in the Programs directory. The result is that processed CR2's are very flat, and very different from the camera-generated JPEG's. I had no such problem with my old 400D.

Are you going to add the 650D camera profile?

4.1 had preliminary support, hence no profiles. Version 4.2 now have the profiles for 650D.

Thx Dorin. I'll have a go with LR 4.2, then. The folder for the 650D is there :-)

Are these the "picture style" profiles? I have created a custom one with more saturation, but when the files are imported into Lightroom 4.2 (camera raw 7.2) the profile selected is standard and the changes are ignored....

That's right. Changes you make in-camera aside from exposure and ISO are not used by Lightroom.
