A lot of new camera's have the option for WIFI. How nice would it be that it can tether wireless directly the photo's taken to Lightroom Mobile (to an Ipad or iPhone).

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Lightroom for mobile: Wi-Fi tethering.

There are devices (like CamFi) and even apps like ShutterSnitch that allow WiFi tethering; ie: transfer images to the mobile device and display them as they're being shot.

My idea is as follows: I'd like Lightroom Mobile to have the ability to set up a tethered shoot over WiFi. The cameras have WiFi, you can connect the mobile device to WiFi, so it should be a feature we should be getting in my opinion.

It would be more convenient to be able to directly tether in Lightroom and have it directly go into a album/collection structure ready for review and syncing etc, and to save time on having to copy and import, as it would basically be done by the time you are finished shooting.
