Camera Raw: Presets

I have my CC on manual updates because I am so frustrated with Camera Raw always updating when I don't want it to. Somehow, the new update happened automatically and now I am stuck with the problem that makes me rage out. The problem is, every update wipes all my presets. I am a photographer with a lot of presets. Most are VSCO but there are also custom ones I have created. Everytime I try to reload the presets I forget how I made it work last time. Most of the time I try 20 different things. Once I have them installed, then I have to go through and pick out my favorites again. This started happening after ACR 10.5. PLEASE JUST FIX THIS SO IT NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN! or, stop updating your products every 3 months. Now I have to figure out how to upload my presets again.

Disable Creative Cloud from auto starting when comp starts, then set your firewall so that Creative Cloud must ask permission to connect to internet, even when you manually start CC.

It is possible that CC sneakily reset itself to autostart and auto update after your second to last update.

Worked with ACR Support and they renamed one of my presets that weren't showing up in the (Macintosh HD⁩ ▸ ⁨Users⁩ ▸ ⁨User Name▸ ⁨Library⁩ ▸ ⁨Application Support⁩ ▸ ⁨Adobe⁩ ▸ ⁨CameraRaw⁩ ▸ ⁨ImportedSettings)⁩ folder and then all the presets appeared after restarting photoshop. They said they will bring this up to the dev team for ACR but I have a feeling they already know about this.
