I shoot a lot of still lives which I silo and keep the work path. Sometimes I have to deliver my files in Jpg format or in different sizes. When I use camera Raw's processor the work path does not remain on the output files. The files are resized and processed correctly but no work path. My workaround is to use image processor, the script that comes from "the old days". It works great in converting to a jpeg and retaining the work path, but in terms of resizing it is weak. it works if you tell it a specific width and height in pixels, but if the images are mixed size or orientation it doesn't work. I would like to be able to say make the short side 1000 px and have it figure out which is the short side and do it. Can you help me find a workaround? Now I have to make actions, but that is a pain. Either fix camera raw so that it retains the work path or fix image processor to have a more robust sizing tool. Someone told me lightroom might work, but I don't really use it. Any ideas?
