Camera Raw/Lightroom: Merge to Panorama - TIFF/JPEG support

For Lr to have the ability to merge files like TIFF or Jpeg when merging to Panorama. Or is this not possible?

If Lr can read your TIFF or JPEG, then it should be able to merge them. Do you have sets that Lr cannot merge? I just merged a JPEG set, it works fine from my end -- even when I stripped all metadata from the JPEGs.

I never use jpgs but I always get this error when trying to merge tiffs
