Camera Raw crashes on macOS Big Sur Beta 1

I am testing all the betas for Apple on separate device usually and in this case I am running macOS Big Spur Beta 1 release just couple of days ago. I noticed that Camera Raw crashed on me - not surprise, I'm on beta os. I though I would reach out to Adobe support to mention that I am available to test their Big Spur beta's in the future, but customer agent didn't understand a thing I was talking about. He pointed me to public beta program, which is not targeted for people who are testing new unreleased version of OS. Big Spur will be released in September and, obviously, Adobe will get ready for it to support new OS on all their products, so team is there and working on it.

Do you have any idea how I could reach out to appropriate team and suggest my help testing Big Spur support for release in September?

I am on photography plan, so I can help only with those apps included.

After I got email response as follow up on chat with agent, I explained issue once again and then I was directed to https://www.adobe.io/support so posted same post there. Will see how it goes. Will update here if I will get any info.

I think you're only supposed to discuss this with Apple, there'll be a non-disclosure agreement with your developer account.

Thanks for comment. This is about Adobe software support for new OS, not other way around. So Apple is nothing to do with it. Unless specific Adobe used API (provided by Apple) has a bug, but even then, it can be captured and sorted only by Adobe developers

No, what I mean is, if you're using Apple Beta software, you're not supposed to be discussing it outside of the developer contact system, other than simply mentioning that you have it installed (as its existence is now in the public domain).

The fact that you have installed the beta version is a likely cause of any crashes you have with existing software. I might not be bugs with Adobe, but incompatibilities with new code used in the beta.

As far as I'm aware, Adobe are not at liberty to discuss development of third party pre-release software (nor are Apple).

If you're signed up to the Adobe beta system, then they also don't allow discussing it in a public forum. I've recently had a post removed, even not being signed up to the scheme, and the subject link was very tentative.

After this comment I am in doubt now, will have to look into it, thanks for concern.

As for incompatibilities - yes of course, most likely its the case. Still, software has to be rebuilt using new SDK (or something like that), to work properly.

That's were I naively would like to help. I wouldn't go into public forum, if adobe support could've redirected me somewhere reasonable.

While, having this discussion, I can't blame adobe support pointing me to public forum :)

Wasting my time and creating problems, rather than helping anyone, I guess.

Looked in panel for deleting the post but couldn't find it.

Generally, Adobe doesn't support unreleased/beta operating systems. Testing on these systems is done internally prior to OS release and then goes through our normal Prerelease channel after OS release.

In the past, some customers have created a single thread here to capture issues seen with Adobe Products and Beta OS's.  These are of limited value as a Beta OS is a moving target and it is often fruitless to chase crashes, bugs and other anomalies until the OS ripens and is ready to release.
