Photoshop Elements: Camera/Lens Data Being Lost in PSE

I'm not sure what happened but now my photos are losing the EXIF data that has to do with camera type, lens type, and all photo setting of Shutter Speed,  ISO, etc. My older photos had all of this data but now when I import the photos they all lose this data under the EXIF data. I've tried all kinds of different things to get this working but nothing is working.

I'll save the file before and it does have all of this data then once I import to the organizer in PSE it gets erased and is not longer there, it only saved the date.

Please help.

Hi Johnny,

Which version of Photoshop Elements are you working with?
Are you on Mac or Windows?

Regards
Pete

It is elements 13.1 and I'm using a Mac. I've confirmed that all the data is on the photo when I load them into Mac's Photos App but then once I copy it to PSE it is all gone before I even start editing.

Hi Johnny,

Please try to import the files in Elements Organizer and check if you loose the data again.

Sandeep
