Any chance that Adobe could buy the filter - buzzpro 3 - and incorporate it in Photoshop's filter set? Photoshop has strong photo preparation tools except its filters which are only moderately successful at simplifying detail in a photo ready for clone-painting from it. Buzz Pro has a Simplify setting which gives great results - so good, TopazLabs have mimicked it in their own filter - Topaz Simplify. BuzzPro was originally produced in the UK by a company called Segmentis and another company - Fot2PIX - took over the product after a while. They are now out of business and as far as I know the filter - BuzzPro 3 - is in Limbo and is not commercially available anywhere. It would be a really useful edition to Photoshop's filter set.
