It would be great with the next version of Lightroom if in the import module if there were the 6 color flags like in photoshop. So you could color label you folders that you were importing from different external hard drives. I have a number of external hard drives and a number of time I have to copy files to these hard drives, due to taking on location to show a client or working on my lap top computer or with one of my other desk top computers. Space is cheap but duplication and drive you crazy. The don't import suspect feature in Lightroom is great. Yet being able to label importing folders would be great. Also LIghtroom 3 really needs to fix the tethering issue on the Mac OS. Using Nikon camera so don't know if this problem exist with Canon, If I let my camera sit to long while tethered, lightroom appears to lose the connection to my Mac Laptop computer. I can shot while this is happening and next thing I know the files are not coming into lightroom 3. It forces me to unconnect my coil from my Nikon D300 and then start all over again with the tethering process. Also I use to use Nikon Camera Control before LIghtroom3 came out with its own tethering feature. I was able to use Lightroom as my viewer when using Nikon Camera Control. Yet now the enable auto Import feature in Lightroom3 appears to have disable the link between the Nikon Camera Control and Lightroom 3. You all should definitely bring back the ability to tether using Nikon Camera Control. I don't like the interface of Nikon Transfer and its too slow, its not what I want. Plus its great Lightroom has tethering now, but one of the major benefits I found using the two programs together besides having my files come directly into the lightroom interface Nikon Camera Control or capture allows you to import to two different hard drives at the same time. Again another feature which would be great for Lightroom 3 or 4 to have.
