Since updatet Lighroom 3.5 to 3.6 Im have the following problem: I have converted my images in Lightroom from *cr2 to *dng with the export function after I have corrected in Lightroom exposure. Now the bibliothek shows no corrections. The color and other things are different between biliothec and eposure modul. I hope someone can help me, if possible in german, becouse my english is not so good. Thanks

The exposure corrections (and other adjustments) are only recorded in metadata in the DNG. They are not "baked into" the pixel data in the DNG. Thus the results of these adjustments will not show up in other software, because the other software will only read the pixel data (but not the adjustment metadata).

+.02 - to get adjustments to show up in other (non-Photoshop) software, you *do* have to bake them into the pixel data upon export, e.g. in tif or jpg format.

Hallo Eric, hallo rob,
I ́m awaiting that Lightroom shows in modul biliothek and exposure modul the identicall image, including correction like befor in Lightroom 3.5 on my computer. Thats the difference I dont ́understand. Some pictures show quadratical areas in pink on the image, where I have used the tool dustremove. This is only to repair with setting back complete adjustments.

Sorry, I think I miss-understood previously (as did Eric). (bibliothek is the Library Module in Lightroom, not another software. Likewise, "eposure modul" is Lightroom's Develop Module - got it now...).

The pink square instead of a proper dust-removal is a documented bug in Lightroom. I guess it was not fixed in version 3.6.

The other thing sounds like a bug too, but I'm not familiar with it. One thing you might try is to delete the previews, to force Lightroom to re-render the developed image for library view:

1. Exit Lightroom.
2. Delete (or rename for later restoral) "{catalog} Previews.lrdata" folder (its in the same folder as your catalog (.lrcat file), but do NOT delete the lrcat file).
3. Restart Lightroom.

Any better?

If this makes no difference, you may want to:
1. Exit Lightroom.
2. Rename previews back to "{catalog} Previews.lrdata".
3. Restart Lightroom.

to get back to where you were before.

(If it fixes the problem, then permanently delete the old preview folder)

Hi Alfred,

Sorry, but I'm out of ideas - maybe Adobe (or somebody else with a fresh perspective) will chime in...
