PS CS6 BUG? - Gradient fills on shapes changing on loading PSD

If i save a PSD while a shape layer is selected, when i next reopen that PSD, it changes the colour of the gradient on that shape to whatever my current foreground colour is.

I'm assuming it's a bug given that the shape itself isn't even directly selected (i.e. no selected points) when you open the file, but it still changes the shape's colour.

Compare that to the functionality when I pick the shape layer in the layer palette and then change my current colour - the colour of the shape's gradient is unaffected.

Similarly, if I select the shape with the Direct Selection Tool and change my current colour, it still doesn't change the colour of the shape's gradient.

When editing the document the only way to change the gradient colour of the shape is via the "Fill Type" palette as you'd expect.

So i'm assuming the opening colour change is a bug?

I'm on Mac BTW.
