Photoshop 21.1: Lasso completely broken

In photoshop 2020 the lasso tool is broken. I am using windows 10 and a mouse. I use the lasso to make a selection, but right as it closes it makes a selection that is not where my mouse went, it makes lines flying off into the top left corner, It happens 100% of the time on every file and even after restarting. I wish I could post a screenshot. So far my experience with photoshop is 2/10, it's full of bugs and customer support is terrible. If this is not fixed I will be cancelling my payments. I cannot work with a program that doesn't do basic things.

This is a bug in CC 21.10 and there is a lengthy thread of discussion about it already on this forum. The temporary fix is to roll back to version 21.03 and block auto updates until Adobe gets it fixed.  If you need info on rolling back, look for that same thread, and scroll down through postings....

Hi Steve, have you installed 21.1.1 which went out early this AM?

If you are on Windows 10, use Windows Ink. If on Windows 7, consider upgrading to Windows 10. Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft and support for it and wintab are sunsetting.

I am on windows 10, and I cannot use windows ink because it stops my tablet monitor from working. For now I'll use the pen to lasso, but it's annoying that I can't switch back and forth.
