I LITERALLY JUST GOT PHOTOSHOP CC AND IT ALREADY KEEPS DELETING ALL THE ACTIONS I'VE UPLOADED EVERY TIME I OPEN THE PROGRAM. ALSO I WORKED 5 HOURS ON AN ASSIGNMENT AND LEFT IT OPEN IN PHOTOSHOP LIKE I ALWAYS DO, MY COMPUTER DIED(THIS HAS ALL HAPPENED BEFORE WITH CS6 AND MY FILES WERE STILL THERE) AND WHEN I OPENED MY COMPUTER IN CLASS MY FILE WAS COMPLETELY GONE NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. I HATE CC MORE THAN ANYTHING. I CANT EVEN FIND A NUMBER TO CALL A SUPPORT PERSON TO HELP ME FIGURE OUT HOW TO RECOVER MY FILE...

Photoshop saves the actions along with preferences (where all your panels are located, etc) when the application shuts down. If your whole computer is crashing before Photoshop is shutdown, any files that are open, and any changes (adding actions, etc) you've made will be lost.

You need to solve the root problem of your computer crashing.

A system/computer crashing usually means a low level failure such as a driver (video card driver, etc), failing/damage hard disk, damaged OS installation, or failing hardware (hard disk, video card, etc).

I would have your keyboard looked at as well. The CAPS key appears to be stuck.

ok sarcasm? cool i see how you function. I'm in finals, extremely frustrated and don't need that BS. I know how photoshop works and my computer isn't CRASHING its dying... meaning my battery is low. sooooooo maybe thoroughly read before you act like that.

I know that actions SHOULD be saved in the panels when I put them there, but considering I'm loading my actions and placing it in the panel EVERY TIME I have properly closed then reopened photoshop, theres clearly a problem. I just spent an hour on the phone with adobe support and he assisted me with changing the read/write settings in photoshop system preferences so it no longer refreshes every time I open PSCC.

so thanks for nothing !

If you unplug your computer, or the battery dies, of course changes won't be saved.

Yes, damaged user account permissions can cause problems, too. Glad you figured it out.
