Bug in Bridge's loupe tool viewing 2 images: loupe view grossly distorted

When viewing two images and comparing them using the Loupe tool, the view within the loupe is grossly distorted, thus making the tool useless for comparing the images. Windows 10, Bridge version 9.1.0.338. The screen capture shows the distortion which occurs in the loupe. This occurs in the loupe in both images. The type of distortion remains when the two loupes are moved in parallel in both images.

I should add that the images were JPEG's from an iPhone 5s. The Raw format images (of the 3 types I can try) do not show this problem. I tried JPEG's created by Photoshop CC from Raw files and the same distortion occurs  in a band around the loupe's perimeter.  Width of this band is about 1/8 of the width of the loupe view.

This suggests Adobe has a bug in how it shows JPEG files in Bridge's loupe view.

Happily, updating to Bridge version 10.0.2.131 fixes the problem. I had already updated but it seems Adobe does not replace the older version but keeps both with the older version the one that remains on the desktop and in the taskbar.
