Brushes removed after starting PS CC

Hi everyone, hopefully you can help me with my problem. Since the update PS CC 21.1.3 every time I start PS all my brushes are gone. Downloaded (DeviantArt, Brusheezu ...) as well as my own created brushes. Contacted Adobe, but that person was not sure what the problem was and went to inquire. No response so far. I work on a Mac desktop MacOs Catalina version 10.15.4. Hopefully you can help me further. Kind regards, Josiane

this is an ongoing issue thousands of us have, thousands of us have notified Adobe about and has been a problem since before cc2018. each time its reported, we get the "we'll fix it in the next update" and it never is. I,you and probably every other user is nw properly p***ed off now with having to reload our brushes every time we run photoshop....its not acceptable and by now it should be sorted. It isnt!!!!

How are you closing photoshop? If you quit photoshop incorrectly (using activity monitor or force quitting then it’s doesn’t save your brushes). Once you load photoshop brushes try quitting through the photoshop menu. Then reopen and see?

Thanks for your reply. I am closing PS through regular means (Command-Q, or through the menu). Sadly tis appears to be a common problem as seen in other reactions here.

I'm also facing that problem. This is a non permanent and random issue. Obviously there's always someone yo tell you your prefs are corrupted... But this appears so oftenly that I can't believe it's just a simple prefs issue.

Adobe knows and it is a problem. Don't wait for Adobe to fix it and create an action that load the brush groups you want. Not to be funny, if you don't know what an action there are many places on the web that will point you in the right direction; I didn't know about them. Good Luck!
