There seems to be a bug in Photoshop cc 2014 with the intuos Art Pen.
THe art pen barrel rotation is Doing the Opposite in photoshop. So if you rotate the pen clockwise The brush rotates counter clockwise. Rotate it counter clock wise it rotates clock wise....

Brush Rotation with the ARt Pen works perfectly fine in the previous version of Photoshop CC. It just doesnt correctly in photoshop CC 2014.

I have the latest Wacom driver etc... The rotation just doesnt work correctly in the Photoshop CC 2014.

Is there a solution to this? ANy new options for pen barrel rotations in photoshop cc2014 That i need to click to get it to rotate correctly???

If not. this needs to get fixed!!!!

I'm having the exact same issue. Art Pen rotates in opposite direction on Cintiq Companion running Photoshop CC 2014. It works fine when I use Photoshop CC (not the 2014 verison). Therefore I believe this is an Adobe issue. Please fix this!!!

What OS/version are you running on?

What version of the Wacom Driver are you running? There have been a number of updates to the driver fixing a number of issues.

I'm using a Wacom Cintiq Companion running Windows 8.1 Pro (64bit)

Wacom Driver: 6.3.7-6

Photoshop CC 2014: 20141014.r.257 x64

I am not using the latest Wacom Driver because I like to draw with opacity turned on, and using driver after the version I've listed above will lose the opacity (pressure sensitivity) from time to time randomly which is extremely annoying.

I have confirmation that the rotation was reversed in older versions of the driver.

Have you tried the 6.3.10w2 Driver which was released a few days ago? It has the fix for the barrel rotation issue:

If you're having an issue with opacity with the latest driver, please work with Wacom.

I have tried the latest driver, and while it fixed the Art Pen rotation issue, it has an even more annoying issue that inadvertently pressure sensitivity will be lost from random time intervals. I like to draw with opacity set to pressure, and due to this random lost of pen pressure sensitivity interferes with my workflow.

I've tried all the new drivers from wacom, but anything above 6.3.7-6 will give me this issue :(

OK. Best bet would be to report the driver issues to Wacom for them to address.

Hi Jeffrey,

Thanks for your help thus far. So I've contacted Wacom and I think the issue is resolved (knock on wood/haven't tested long enough to be for sure). Basically I had to remove all the user preference from Wacom Tablet Properties, and uninstall the wacom driver via add/remove program (forgot the exact name as I normally use Mac) via control panel. Restart computer, then download and install the latest wacom driver, and boom, so far so good!

Sweet. Yeah, they're usually pretty good with the intricacies of their drivers. (I do my best to keep up, but I have to keep up with my own PS, LR, etc).
