Is there any good reason why Whites, Blacks, Vibrance, Tone curve, HSL, Split toning, sharpening(all settings), NR, is not on the adjustment brush? I can't tell you how many times I've needed to do local adjustments with those things, especially tone curve and HSL. As someone who used local curves and color adjustments on every photo in photoshop, this is a huge letdown and I don't know any reason why it shouldn't work in LR.

Vibrance is available, at least in the positive direction (it's called Saturation in the user interface, but internally it's the same as Vibrance in the positive direction).

Many of the other corrections are problematic to map to our local correction model at present, because of ordering issues (this is not a problem in Photoshop because you explicitly control in Ps how and in what order corrections are applied).

We have some exceptions here for luminance noise reduction and sharpening amount, which we can control locally, but the other aspects of these detail controls are not likely to be easily implementable in the near future.
