Brush window feature requests/problems

I really like the new Brush management system update. But I feel a few key things are missing/needs to be changed.

-The Brushes window has a size limit.
I have an entire extra screen in portrait mode dedicated to tools, I want to be a be able to fill it with the brush window but can't due to the size limit.

-Being able to save changes to a brush without making a new brush.
This is an age-old problem, why must one save a new brush to make a small change? A simple save button that just overwrote the old settings of a brush would be a a welcome addition.

-Automated sorting.
I would like to be able to sort my groups and the content of groups automatically by alphabetical/numerical order.

-Having the Brush Settings window implemented in the Brushes window.
If I want both brushes and brush settings open now, I get that redundant window full of small brush icons taking space when I already have the brushes visible in the Brushes window. I'd like the brush settings to be visible in the regular brush window, preferably as an option with a visibility toggle.

What size limit? I can fill my entire monitor with just the Brushes panel.

It would probably have to be a little more difficult than a Save button, which would lead too many users to overwrite brushes they only meant to customize temporarily. Perhaps a menu item that allowed us to overwrite, and specifically said so? Or a modifier key that changed from New Brush Preset to Overwrite Preset?

That could be nice to have.

The brush tips in the Brush Settings panel don't serve the same purpose under the hood as the Brush Presets in the Brushes panel I've been told. They're just the tip, and you can change all the other settings to create a new brush. I use the Brush Tips for Dual Brushes, for instance, to create a new brush. And the Brushes panel is potentially all full up, with no room to include Brush Settings in the Brushes panel, if I'm not getting confused by what you want here.

You can easily put each panel into a different icon strip in your workplace and have them both open at the same time. A useful workspace method, for instance, could be to dock Brush Settings with your Layers panel open on the far right (typically), and dock the Brushes panel in a strip beside it. Now both are open side-by-side, without trying to cram the features of one into a panel with the other, no?

The monitor I run the brush window on is a 2560x1440 pixel display in portrait mode, I can't make the window fill all the now vertical 2560 pixels and it cuts off after about 50-60% of the monitor is covered. I assume there is either a maximum vertical pixel size or that it is capped to the vertical resolution of the main monitor, which is 1440 pixels.

A menu item to toggle the button function or a function in a menu would be fine with me, as long as brush tweaks can be saved with relative ease instead of making redundant copies of a brush.

I would like to be able to have the brush settings and all my brushes in the same window as an option, even if a bit cluttered perhaps. I currently do something similar to what you described. The Dual Brush is a bit tricky as that one actually requires the window of thumbnails but perhaps it could be possible to select the second brush in the regular brush window instead. That would even be preferable, if possible, since you have the order of your brushes intact and can see their names easily.
