I cannot chance my brush size with the [ and ] keys and also not with my wacom tablet when I'm in select and mask mode. When I change to version 19 it is all working correctly.

I have been asking for a fix to the brush change feature ever since 2019 came out but am told Adobe can't repeat it.  I join your pleas for help.

Hopefully they can solve it because it takes me much more time now. I can only change the brushsize in the optionpanel.

Are you on Mac or Windows? Does it make a difference if you go to Preferences > Performance... and disable "Use Graphics Processor" and restart Photoshop?

Jeffrey, I work on a Mac. Disabling the Graphics Processor didn't work. If I/m in the normal selection mode, the keys work fine an I can resize my brush. Only  if I go to select and mask, the stop working.

This does work for me in PS 2020 now (Dutch keyboard to Azerty Flemish) and I have an old GTX-460 GPU... Does *not* work in PS 2017, but I may have forgotten to specifiy it maybe.
On the Azerty some keys won't take and I have to pick the keys $ and μ for this instead (opening bracket key doesn't take).

I just retried in PS 2017 after freshly restarting it. Today it works, yesterday it didn't. So maybe it is a function that can "crash" depending on available memory or something we do. I so wish there was an option to use the scroll wheel for this -- makes much more sense to me than using it for scrolling or changing canvas size... Good luck :)
