Just bought a lovely Wacom Intros Pro M tablet to use with Lightroom 6.6 on my MacBook Pro (retina, late 2013) and I use it with the latest Wacom driver
As many other experienced reading this forum, I have a really annoiyng lag when I use brush tool.
Yes, if I disable the GPU acceleration on Lr, it works with less lag but the lag is still present.

I'm not able to see any recent post about this problem, so I suppose that someone found a trick..so basically: please, help me!

So annoying that after more than 6 patches for Lr 6 and many wacom and apple updates, the bug is still there.

PS: I'm using OS X 10.11.5

Thank you!

I've had problems with the latest Wacom driver so I called Wacom tech support and was told they're aware of issues with it. They recommended that I roll back to the previous version. They were even gracious enough to assist me with the rollback and since then I haven’t had any problems.

man I wish the light at the end of the tunnel was not a train but I am afraid it is.

I have massive issues with slow operation of LR and have tried everything, even buying a new ssd with fresh clean install of windows on a very strong pc.

i had to go back and install an older version of LR and make sure not to update it until this has been worked out or I find an alternative to LR.

Roll back to LR 6.5.1. 10 minutes of work. It should work fine after that.
LR 6.6 seems to be a _very_ big programming mistake.

I have the tablet as well and it works perfectly in Photoshop except when using Clone and Heal Tools. When I use the ALT key and the tablet to choose a source, it does not choose the source. Whether I use the ALT key on the Wacom or the keyboard, it does not work. If I use the ALT key on either the Wacom or the keyboard and the mouse click to select a source it works every time. Then, I am able to do the actual clone or heal with the Wacom brush.

In LR CC, the tablet is simply too slow!

I've been having problems with my Wacom tablet ever since upgrading to Windows 10 in September last year. Found a fix on YouTube that resolved issues in Photoshop but Lightroom still does not work well. Then PS 2015.5 is released and now I'm seeing a freeze problem in PS when using any brush tool.
Frustrating!!

Wacom Pro M / Windows 10 "Latest drivers, all over"

Just bought a Wacom tablet, Huge lag using slider in LR, in Camera Raw it is jumping. PS Ok.

I disable the "Windows ink" LR and ACR is now working, BUT brush pressure is NOT working.

Change settings in "Pen and Touch" do nothing.

Disable Touch screen in drivers, Not helping eighter.

HP TouchSmart 600-1140

9 months later and the problem is still here! Some more information... Using the Wacom in "Pen" mode, after touching the pen tip to the tablet, LR needs to see the cursor move a short distance before LR will move a slider, the zoomed image, etc. If I change the Wacom to "Mouse" mode (but still using the pen/stylus), the sliders now move correctly but the cursor navigation isn't as good as in "Pen" mode. This is with Windows Ink enabled. LR 2015.9, Wacom 6.3.15-3 (also with 6.3.21-3).

This isn't a difficult problem! When can we expect it to work properly?

(P.S.--Wacom said that it's Adobe's problem; Adobe "support" told me today that Lightroom isn't designed for a Wacom tablet)
