PHOTOSHOP - CC Libraries smart objects - double-click should edit!

Since the introduction of Libraries (which I'm still struggling to find its use) I always get the message "This item isn't directly editable in Photoshop, but it can be placed in a document. To place the item, drag it into an open document." What does that even mean?? I miss the days when just a double-click would let me update vectors in Illustrator in a seamless way... can't do that anymore.

It just means that CC Libraries have limitations that the CC Libraries team is still working to solve.
If you are using a smart object that is not in CC Libraries, or a raster image in CC Libraries, then double clicking still works just fine.
It is just vector files (not editable in Photoshop) that CC Libraries smart objects cannot handle.

Thanks for the reply Chris! I've just disabled the option "Add to my current library" on the Paste window and it works fine again :)
