Many times, Bridge (CS6) takes 6 seconds or more to process a menu click. The only way I have found to get rid of this is to completely delete my thumbnail cache. My computer has 24G of memory, unlimited HD space, and a fast quad-core processor. WHAT IS BRIDGE DOING WHEN IT SHOULD BE PROCESSING A MENU CLICK? I see no CPU activity during this time on my resource monitor. Deleting a single image takes 6 seconds. Applying a rating takes 6 seconds before it shows up. Shift clicking multiple files takes even longer. Many times the application "fades out" as windows 7 64-bit temporarily shows that the application has crashed. Usually it comes back, but not always. Bridge has always crashed. I can live with that since nothing is ever lost, but adding 6-8seconds to each click makes the app un-usable. This has been around a long time. I've seen it posted before. What's the deal?
