Bridge disappears when I click on it!

I'm running Bridge 5.0.2.4 and Mavericks 10.9.2 on a 2013 iMac.

The problem I am getting is that when I click on Bridge - to open a file or folder - it disappears completely and returns me to Photoshop. It is still running, the menu strip is still active at the top of the screen, but the main interface disappears and I'm back in Photoshop.

The problem, when I get it, (every couple of days) is only resolved by restarting Bridge. Until I do that, Bridge completely disappears when I click on it.

I have a Wacom Intuos Pro connected, although I don't use it when I use Bridge, I always use the mouse, and all of the above happens on mouse clicks.

Any ideas?

OK, it's just started doing it again - so that's twice today, but here's the weird thing: it doesn't disappear if I right-click. I can open files by right-clicking and selecting an option from the pop up menu. I can also navigate through folders using the right-click on the mouse.

As soon as I left-click on anything however, the entire interface disappears and I am thrown back into Photoshop.
