I reported this earlier, but I have more information.
When I hover over Bridge CS6 buttons in the lower right, the tool tips appear and do not allow me to click through them.
Tool tips are designed (I assume) to appear below the mouse cursor. But if the Bridge CS6 interface is maximized, then the tool tips have no where to go (because these buttons are at the very bottom.) So, they instead appear higher than they normally would, which is right over the buttons (View as Grid, etc.)
This also happens in Bridge CS5, however, Bridge CS5 lets you click "through" the tool tips allowing you to use the buttons. In Bridge CS6, you can not click through the tool tips. So, basically, these buttons can't be used.
If I make the Bridge CS6 interface smaller than full screen, then the tool tips appear below the cursor and I can reach the buttons, but none of my program windows are ever smaller than the monitor.
So I guess to simplify this: Bridge CS6 doesn't let you click "through" tool tips when they cover interface controls. And there are no preference settings which let you turn interface tool tips off, it only lets you turn off Thumbnail tips.
