Bridge: CS6 full-screen preview problem on OS X 10.9 Mavericks

Ever since I've upgraded to OS X Mavericks my Adobe Bridge CS6 (not the cloud version) doesn't render fullscreen previews or review mode. I get either a blank grep screen or corrupted garbage. I tried it for both CR2 and JPEG.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Haim,

Do you have the latest updates installed for Bridge? (choose Help>Updates... from Bridge to check. You should have 5.0.2.4)

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Directions for sharing your system info from Photoshop:

Hi Jeffery,

I do have the latest Bridge version. I tried to inline the photoshop info but I'm getting timeouts so you can download it here:

this looks more like a GPU card issue in OSX 10.9 than a BR full screen issue. do you have a way to upgrade your Nivdia driver on 10.9?
I need to find a same mac book to see whether we could repro inside.
thanks!

Hi

I can't upgrade the drivers. AFAIK on mac you don't upgrade drivers of the integrated elements of the laptop separately (e.g. from nvidia). it comes with the OS.

I tried various ways to display images to see if I get similar behavior (e.g. full screen preview from Finder or open them in iPhoto) but it was all ok.

The macbook is mid 2010 13" (the more expensive model).

Thanks.

I didn't use Bridge for a few weeks, and in the last few weeks I had a few system and Adobe updates. Anyway, it seems to work now.

Hi,

I have a similar problem. Full screen preview (spacebar) does not seem to be enabled (missing!) on Adobe Bridge version that I installed on my Mac OS X 10.9 today. There does not appear to be any available updates...

I have also downloaded Bridge at work about a week ago, and there it is included. Does anyone know how I can lure full screen view out? It is dearly missed!
