Bridge CS6: Can not rename clips while they are being previewed

I am trying to rename/log a whole bunch of clips, it would speed up my workflow so much if you could rename a file while it is still playing. If you try and do it, it says that the file is being used by another process (presumably the process bridge uses to handle file previews, as once playback is stopped you are able to rename files again).

I am currently running Bridge CS6, I seem to recall that it was already possible in Bridge CS5- I hope this feature is re-implemented?

Also, possibly related- When I do rename a file and my sort option is set to manual, once I complete the rename the view suddenly toggles from ascending to decending order (and vice versa). Also, the highlighted clip (the clip I have just renamed) is reset to the top of the list, so I have to scroll back and find where I was up to each time!

I have the view set to `show items from subfolders`, is it possible that this is causing part of the issue?
