Bridge CS6 Cache

Case #183271156 - re: Photoshop CS6; I am on a Mac using OS X 10.6.8 with 16G RAM & a Intel Core i7 chip.

In Bridge CS6, when I have a file saved as a TIFF that includes layers, Bridge rebuilds cache for the entire folder every time I access the folder. When I access and close any file included in that folder, Bridge rebuilds cache. This occurs even if nothing is done to the accessed file before closing it It happens with all files in the folder, even PSD's and JPEG's, as long as there is at least 1 file in the folder that is saved as a layered TIFF. If the TIFF is flattened and/or removed from the folder, the issue ceases to exist. If the folder includes only files other than a layered TIFF, there is no issue. The issue appears to migrate to sub-folders even if the sub-folders don't include a layered TIFF. The issue does not occur when I use Bridge CS5.1 that is installed on the same computer.

Thanks for your help...
