What happens if you select Window>Workspace>Filmstrip and then select Window>Workspace>Reset Workspace - does that make the filmstrip visible?

The problem seems to be that the link 'Filmstrip' in the up bar is visible and looks like you could choose it, but clicking that option does nothing. All paths to that option do the same: nothing happens. All the other worksapces do work.
I suspect that one of the Windows 7 updates must have corrupted something in PS, because also my profile in CS5 went broken and for instance, all the actions disappeared suddenly. There is none left.

I made the 'Reset Worskspaces' again (a second time) and after that the Filmstrip -workspace started to work. I still wonder what happened to all the actions on PS, but I think I can live with that.

Thanks Jeffrey for your comments and ideas I got when trying to resolve my problem.

Glad that part is working now. That is worrisome that a Windows update make some files go missing. There may be other issues with the OS so some OS/hardware troubleshooting may be in order.
