Hi, I know you might not see this as a problem, but I do!
Why the heck did you remove the output module from Bridge CC!? I really misses it!

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Multi-page pdf contact sheets gone from Bridge.

One of the Bridge functions I used most often was the function that allowed me to create multi-page pdf contact sheets directly from a Bridge selection. Now that I've downloaded Creative Cloud, this function doesn't exist any more. While I understand that a similar function is available in Lightroom, it's neither as intuitive or efficient as the Bridge function (which I used on a weekly basis). Can this be included in a future Bridge update? From what I've seen on various forums and sites, this is something other users are missing, as well.

I just downloaded and installed the plug-in and it works (so far). Hopefully this will stick!

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled No Output Module on Bridge CC ?.

This refers to Bridge CC and the fact that there is no 'OUTPUT' module on the CC version.I've just spent nearly 3 hours with an Adobe product expert on the chat support. Eventually the expert took over my computer to make the fix and after a couple of hours managed to install it. It was not a simple fix. Corrupt Bridge files were removed. Please Adobe, if you are listening, why not include the 'OUTPUT MODULE' in future updates to Bridge? I am not alone here, there are several forum threads relating to this with many, many unhappy customers. This has been such a waste of my time & Adobe technical support's time. Thank you.

If you look ALL the way up to just below the request at the Official Response, there's a link to instructions on how to install the Output module in Bridge CC. I got it working yesterday.

This is so typical of all major software companies. I have attempted to follow instructions but they are extremely vague. There is no real "CUSTOMER SERVICE" anymore. These people think everyone is a computer nerd and could care less about us computer challenged people.

I just finished a Photoshop class at a local technical college. Our assignments we had to print out proof sheets. I had to call Adobe because I could not get the Output Module to download properly. I let the tech at Adobe access to my computer to download the Output Module to my computer. It took him about 5 minutes to accomplish it. I had no luck at doing it myself. There instructions are terrible. Adobe thinks that all computer users are computer techs.

I agree that this portion of Bridge is a very useful and needs to be included with Bridge.

Why Adobe did not include it in Bridge is a big "?" to me. It is very helpful in printing proof sheets.

Unfortunately, it appears that they think everyone using a computer is a computer tech.

Liker I always say I'm a computer (ab)user not a tech.

Agree totally. I use the output module to make pdf's of album designs which I send to clients. I've done it this way for 10 years and despite the advances of LightRoom it is still the simplest method.

I don't under stand why the module was ever removed. Computer nerds do it all the time without knowing how useful something is.

The company I work for does mandatory security updates each week on all our computers, and EVERY time, the output module vanishes.  Dear adobe, is there ANY way to keep the AOM?  It is a royal pain to contact our IT dept each week to re-do the install (all our downloads have to go through our IT).  We are all getting tired of this process and the production time it is costing the company (this affects 4 workstations)

Send IT department a bill for the lost time, every week.

It sounds like they are mistakenly removing the output module - are they also removing your presets and third party plugins from other applications? What about fonts?

They claim they are not touching Adobe software with the weekly "security patches" and updates. No other software, plug-ins or files appear to be affected.

If the module is removed, then they are touching things they should not be.
Your IT folks need to figure out what they are damaging and stop it.
(seriously, send them bills - they'll get it fixed quickly)
