Bridge CS5.1 Export to Disk Crash and Contact Sheet Error Message in Mac OS 10.8

I am experiencing an immediate crash when clicking the "Browse" button to choose a destination folder while exporting images to disk in Bridge CS5.1 (4.1.0.54).

Additionally, when attempting to build a PDF contact sheet via Bridge's Output tab I'm getting the error message "There is insufficient disk space to complete this operation" even though I have over 800GB free on the selected drive (the computer's built-in drive, but this happens on network drives as well).

This behavior began when I upgraded my iMac which came pre-installed with Mac OS 10.8. In both cases, the source photos are ones I have successfully used the same operations upon on a previous computer with the same CS 5.5 installation (that computer ran OS 10.6.8 and had a bad motherboard, hence the upgrade to the new machine).

I have tried resetting the preferences (starting Bridge with CMD+Option+Shift held) and while this fixes the export crash for one use, it returns again if I try a second export. I can reproduce this behavior at will. Nothing I have tried has allowed the contact sheet export to function properly.

Other functions in Bridge seem to operate normally, but I'm by no means a power user of this application so there may be other broken functions that I don't know about because I haven't tried them.

Any advice?

According to another thread (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/765674), simply unmounting the network drive "users" can fix the contact sheet "insufficient disk space" issue.

I tried this and it fixed the problem, for now. The crash on export bug still persists.
