Bridge Output module not working on latest version, on Yosemite. It was previously working. Did an update, and now when I click on "Output" nothing happens. Have deleted the Output module and related workspace from Library, downloaded latest, and reinstalled. Still doesn't work. Also deleted the "!!..." workspaces as per post.

Same after latest update to Bridge 2017.
Why do we have to install it as an optional module again and again?
Annoying!

Looks like they had to update it for CC 2017. Details here: https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/install-output-module-bridge-cc.html I've passed along the suggestion to the Bridge team.

Every recent version has been the same - why does nobody listen or at least explain?

Why the heck doesn't adobe just include the output module in bridge to begin with?

Why was it ever removed from bridge?

When adobe these kinds of things it just creates confusion and more work for everyone involved.

Just look at all the posts in the adobe bridge forum about how to install the adobe output module.

Excuse the mini rant, but doesn't it make sense to create less confusion and work for users?

Why was it ever removed from bridge?>

If I recall, it was removed around the same time they were updating to 64 bit, so I'm going to guess that's why they removed it—it wasn't working. Why they haven't put it back, I have no clue, other than presumably they still have to get it to work and they've been doing other things. It's been causing problems for everyone for a long time now. I really hope they can fix it soon.

Good to know Jeffrey!
I use a html web gallery most jobs, and pdf generation is important too!
No point to flash galleries as can't be viewed on iOS devices.
Thank you

Until Adobe CC 2017, I was able to manually "plug in" the Output Module to create slideshows for client viewing. Yesterday, I was told that is no longer the case with Bridge CC 2017. Tech Help even tried to revert back to Bridge CC 2015, but failed to have it run - I could only create PDF contact sheets. I then tried using Lightroom for the first time to create slide shows for clients, but was told by Tech Help the ability to include file names was NOT possible. I can do every other gimmick to make the show look nice, but not label them by default. They told me I would have to manually type in each image's name. Try that with 300+ images of a photo shoot.

With the AOM, you can create web galleries and PDF contact sheets. You can create contact sheets which you run as a slideshow.  I just tested it again to be sure it still works, and it does. If you want just the slideshow you run manually  in Bridge, that still works, too. Cmd/Ctrl-L, playback options Compact.

For the AOM module, you have to be very careful to put the AOM files in the right place. Many people do try to place them in the User Library, not the hard drive's Library. Be sure to look for the Bridge CC 2017 Extensions folder, not the Adobe Bridge CC 2017 folder.

You really should be able to get this working. If you follow these instructions and you still can't get it working, let us know.

This still doesn't work for me.  I tried the listed troubleshooting suggestions (even when they didn't apply), and noticed the !!-$$$AdobeOputputMOdule.workspace file is not created.  It looks like the folder/files I copied to C:\program files\common files\adobe\bridge cc 2015 extensions folder do nothing.

Hi,
I had the same problem as you. I'm running OSX 10.11.6 El Capitan.                     When you downloaded the extension, there is another folder called Adobe Output Module.
You need to put that folder Bridge CC 2017 Extensions folder. So it's Library-Application Support-Adobe-Bridge CC 2017 Extensions. Then restart bridge and everything should be there like to older version. I hope this solves your problem. It's stupid that it doesn't tell you to do that in the download instuctions on the Adobe site!

I've placed the AdobeOutputModule.workspace file and the AdobeOutputModule.workspace folder in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Bridge CC 2017 Extensions on my Win10 system, but still no luck.  The  !!-$$$AdobeOputputMOdule.workspace  file is not created, so something is not working right.

On Win 7 64bit;

Disable all startup scripts BUT Output Module

1.  Edit > Preferences
2. Select Startup Scripts
3. Click disable all scripts but Output Module, click OK.
4. Restart Bridge
