Bridge: Import only photos from smartphone

Dear Forum,

I would like to have a feature added in Abode Bridge, which should be simple to implement.
There is this "Import Media Files from Camera" module. It searches all media files from an external device and allows to import and sort them nicely.
Nowadays, many people use their smartphone to take fotos, and so it would be good to have them imported via Adobe Bridge. Now, the import module includes all media files (videos, mp3) into the import. Quite often, this is not desired. Usually, people don't want all their smartphone's mp3s to be imported into folders named by creation date. Right now, they have to manually unselect all mp3s to exclude them from the import.
It would be cool to have small checkboxed like "select all audio files", "select all pictures", so this could be done with one click. Or to at least sort by file type, so the deselection would only take a few clicks. I would really appreciate that.

Best Regards

I just had a related conversation with Apple online and I think the issue is not with Adobe, but with Apple. I want to keep one small folder of family files on my iPhone and whenever I upload large piles of work photos to Bridge I have to deselect the family ones; no way to lock them so they are not uploaded. I was told it's something Apple needs to work on, that it's related to Cloud storage - and I shouldn't expect a solution soon. I'm not sure if it's the same with all smartphones but my understanding is that uploaders can't identify and sort file types from them.
