Bridge: Freezes several seconds after every folder click. Generates 600,000+ file events every click

In Adobe Bridge, very time I click on any folder in any of the application (breadcrumbs, Favorites window, explorer, etc.) the application freezes for several seconds. Running ProcMon I'm seeing 600,000+ file events getting fired every time I click anything. When the application is running idol, it generates less than 100 events per second.

I have read every troubleshooting step reported, but none of them fix the very excessive file IO.

I am very computer savvy, so I am willing to perform any tests necessary. If you need diagnostics, let me know and I will provide any information.
Bellow should be an image of ProcMon. Why does Bridge need to query files in C:\Windows\servicing? Notice how there are 1,969,862 events being generated by Bridge alone! That was after 2 file clicks! A total of maybe 20 seconds!

What is the rest of the path of the file being accessed?
That looks more like a Windows database access than an application file access.

That file path was just an example. It basically enumerates the entire hard drive. It's a new-ish computer so there isn't a ton of files yet. But pick a path that is normally on a base installation of Windows and I'll post a picture of Bridge trying to access something in that path.

Is there a way to start Bridge in a verbose logging mode? I can create a mini dump of what's going on during the enumeration if you think that might expose what's going on.

Let me know what I can do to help troubleshoot this issue.

No, this is something that we would have to reproduce and debug on our own systems to figure out.

Sounds good. Let me know what you need from me. Until then, I'll just not use a product I'm paying for  (I say that and watch it be my fault!)

I filtered by some Fan Favorite paths (C:\, C:\Temp, C:\Program Files) and I came up with the following results:

Notice how just those 3 paths were accessed over 1,000 times!
