I work in an Avid Media Composer environment where we do a lot of work for Walt Disney Studios. We use tons of archive images and Avid can maximumly handle images that are 800 pixels in either direction. The photos we receive from the studio are sometimes much higher than that. Adobe Bridge's dimension sort isn't cutting it for us as sometimes the image is taller than 8000 pixels. 20 images is a manageable number to kind of pick through. 800+ like we have for the latest title we're working on is a little more cumbersome. Being able to sort the images by their height only or width only would be helpful. Even better would be having the ability to only display images with a hight or width over 7999 pixels.
